Congress Objectives

  • Establishing an intellectual forum that brings together local and international scholars in the field of Islamic Studies (including Da’wah, Shariah, Al-Quran and Hadith, Sufism, Islamic Theology, and Aqidah), Organizational Management, Islamic Management, New Media and Communication, Individual and Family Counseling, Theology and Religious Philosophy, Social and Humanities Sciences, and other related fields to discuss current issues, recent research findings, and academic reviews related to the goals of these fields.
  • Integrating contemporary knowledge areas widely discussed and applied with Islamic Naqli values; and using Islamic thought methodologies as the basis for discussion.
  • Providing an academic platform based on knowledge and understanding in issues and challenges related to Leadership Management, Communication, Counseling, Religion and Philosophy, as well as relevant fields.
  • Establishing an intellectual cooperation network with universities inside and outside the country to form strategic cooperation in various fields and activities.

Background

The 2024 International Congress on Leadership Management, Communication, Counseling, and Religion (ICLEMCCR2024) is being held for the first time in 2024. This congress is organized as a result of the merger of four international conferences that have been successfully organized multiple times by the four main programs at FKP, namely:

  • ICDAIM (INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DA’WAH AND ISLAMIC MANAGEMENT)
  • ICIMaC (INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ISLAM, MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION)
  • SIGMA (INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ‘AQIDAH, RELIGIONS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES)
  • MASEC (MARITAL AND SEXUALITY COUNSELING SEMINAR)

The successful organization of these four international conferences has resulted in a wide-ranging and internationally recognized academic collaboration. Since all four programs are once again ready to hold this conference in 2024 post-Covid19 and to meet the challenge of globalizing FKP specifically and USIM in general, FKP is taking a step forward by bringing a larger mission under the banner of a CONGRESS. This Congress represents a large-scale international conference with a global theme to intellectually discuss contemporary issues.
